Get involved in the Capital Area Heart Walk

Support Baton Rouge Cardiology Center teams in the Capital Area Heart Walk on Saturday, March 26 at 8:30 a.m. in Downtown Baton Rouge at City Hall Plaza.

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that’s fun and rewarding for the entire family.

Celebrating Survivors:

Heart disease and stroke survivors are an important part of our Heart Walks. Each survivor receives a red ball cap and have the opportunity to gather with other survivors.

Are You a Survivor?
Or a caregiver for a survivor? A survivor is anyone who has survived a stroke or any form of heart disease, like heart attack, cardiac arrest, heart failure, an irregular heartbeat, heart valve problems or congenital heart defects. Survivors of all ages play a special role in the Heart Walk.

Get Moving as a Team:

Don’t go at it alone! Create a team with your friends and family at our local Heart Walk! Together, you can fundraise and help fight heart disease and stroke.
