Baton Rouge Cardiology Center is committed to providing the highest level of quality care for our patients. In doing so, we voluntarily participate in comprehensive evaluations to assure our facilities exceed national performance standards for safety and quality, and we’ve received numerous recognitions for those efforts.
Joint Commission Accreditation
We are very proud of the numerous accreditations we have received. Our physicians and our staff have been commended by these accreditation organizations for demonstrating our facility’s pursuit of excellence.
Outpatient Cath Lab – Gold Seal of National Quality Approval for Ambulatory Health Care
The Joint Commission, the national organization that establishes standards for health care quality and safety, has again awarded Baton Rouge Cardiology Center’s Outpatient Cath Lab with the Gold Seal of Approval and accreditation. The three-year period is the maximum possible and the Joint Commission’s standards for quality and safety are considered the most rigorous in the industry.
Outpatient Cath Lab – COLA National Accreditation
COLA has again awarded Baton Rouge Cardiology Center’s Outpatient Cath Lab with an Accreditation. Laboratories accredited by COLA meet federal CLIA and state regulatory requirements. COLA is the premier clinical laboratory accreditation, education and consultation organization.

Echocardiography Laboratory – Nationally Accredited
Baton Rouge Cardiology Center’s Echocardiography Laboratories are accredited by the International Accreditation Commission (IAC) for Echocardiography.
Nuclear Laboratory – Nationally Accredited
