Join Baton Rouge Cardiology Center’s 2020 Capital Area Heart Walk Team

Join the Baton Rouge Cardiology Center community, American Heart Association (AHA) and people of all ages at the 2020 Capital Area Heart Walk and support the fight against heart disease and stroke!

The Capital Area Heart Walk is part of a collaborative, nationwide event to raise awareness and funds to support the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Thousands of people from around the area are expected to join the event on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at City Hall Plaza/Downtown.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease strikes someone in the United States about once every 42 seconds. Your participation and fundraising efforts in the Capital Area Heart Walk directly supports Baton Rouge Cardiology Center and the American Heart Association in their goal of improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent by 2020. Research efforts like those underwritten by the Capital Area Heart Walk make great strides in decreasing the burden heart disease and stroke place on families and health care resources.
