New Patients

To help us schedule your appointment efficiently, please be prepared to provide:

  • Referring physician information (if applicable)
  • Insurance information
  • Current medications
  • Previous cardiac testing information, if available

Some insurance plans may require a referral or prior authorization before your visit.

Medical Emergencies

If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, signs of a stroke, loss of consciousness, or any other life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.

Holiday Closures

Baton Rouge Cardiology Center offices are closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day (First Monday in September)
  • Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
  • Day After Thanksgiving (Friday following Thanksgiving)
  • Christmas Eve (December 24)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)
  • New Year’s Eve (December 31)

Messages received during holiday closures will be returned on the next business day.
